Ballet Classes
Ballet is one of the most famous forms of dance in the world. It originated during the Italian Renaissance in the 15th century and further developed into a concert dance form from Russia and France. Today, ballet is a widespread and highly technical form of dance that has influenced other forms of
dance throughout the world. There are several different styles of ballet that vary based on region, influence, and individual studio. Traditional classical ballet styles are usually performed using elaborate costumes and staging, while modern ballets are performed in simple costumes without elaborate scenery or sets.
Standing correctly - Make sure you have good posture while you are taking ballet classes. Your head, neck, and spine should be aligned while you dance.
Turning out - It’s important to listen to your body and have your feet in a turn out that is comfortable for your body. You should never feel like you’re forcing your feet to turn out. You should also not feel any pain while you are taking ballet classes.
Balance - Focusing on evenly distributing your weight throughout your body will naturally improve your balance while you dance.
Technique - There are certain ways to position your head, arms, feet, and legs while you dance to help you maintain proper form during a ballet class. Using proper technique will also prevent you from injuring yourself.
